Where have I been?
Here, that's where!
Yes, that's right - for the last 17 days I have had a stall at the most recent Secret Cinema event!
Attending a Secret Cinema event is a pretty mind blowing experience. EVERYTHING is considered down to the tiniest detail, and everyone, from the runners to the dancers, is extremely dedicated. If you've never been to one of their events, I highly recommend it.
As I said in my little video, overall it was a LOT of fun. I don't have much market experience, so dealing with the general public was a little scary at first, but after a while I really started to enjoy it. I got to see some incredible dance displays, meet brilliant people and also make some money - what's not to like?!
I also got to hang out with a really brilliant bunch of talented people, which always makes work a lot more fun. My new friends Martin of The Corner Theatre (awesome t-shirts - check them out!) and illustration genius Alice Gabb of AliceGabb.com kept me sane night after night with their witty banter and encouraging words, and I just know that both of them are going to become even more successful very soon.
Here are some photos of the space (the incredible International Tobacco Docks in Wapping) and my stall:
So there we go! What do you think of my little video and stall? As ever, all feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading, my lovely friends, and remember - tell EVERYONE!
Many thanks,
Frankie
