Let it shine

Hello friends! It's been a while. How the devil are you?

So at the weekend, the very kind folks at Aussie Hair invited me along to a spa to celebrate their wonderful Three Minute Miracle hair saviour and hear an exciting announcement. I had to wait all day to hear their big secret, but the good news is you can hear it right now!

Drum roll please...

Aussie are releasing a brand new collection of hair care products!

Their "Miracle Shine" range was created to make your hair as gorgeous and glossy as possible. With Australian Ginseng, pearl powder and a whole load of delicious fruit extracts, not only does the whole range smell good enough to eat, but it also does a world of good for your hair. Don't believe me? Let me show you...

Now, I'm no hair model (or any kind of model at that!), and I'm definitely not very good at taking pictures of myself, but I wanted to show you just how shiny the Miracle Shine Shampoo, Conditioner and Three Minute Miracle made my hair after just one wash. I apologies for my ridiculous face/poses/angles in advance...

I don't know about you, but personally I like the last picture best. Jennifer Aniston ain't got nothin' on me...

In conclusion, the new Miracle Shine range from Aussie does exactly what it says on the tin (or rather 'plastic bottle'). My hair is noticeably softer, feels in better condition and, of course, looks a hell of a lot shinier. The complete range of products will be available to buy in shops RIGHT NOW, so get your purse and hair ready to shine!

Much love,

Frankie

Celebrate good times, COME ON!

Life can (and should) be full of things to celebrate. Whether it's something big, like passing an exam, or something small, like making a particularly excellent cup of tea, there's always an excuse to celebrate and have a little party - especially if it means you can win prizes!

To celebrate their "Aussie-Versary", the very generous and lovely folks over at Aussie are giving seven Swell readers the chance to win a super-cool summer party pack, as shown in the photo above. You will even be able to choose from any of the Aussie-versary Limited Edition Ranges to go in your pack - pretty cool, huh? Not only that, but the winners will also have the opportunity to take part in a challenge, with the chance of one person winning 10 tickets for them and their friends to the HUGE Aussie Summer party in October! Best competition ever? Probably!

To enter, all you have to do is tell me if you have anything to celebrate. It can be anything at all, and I do mean ANYTHING - the more creative and interesting the better. Just leave your answer in the comment box. It's that easy! The only catch is that the competition ends at midnight on Wednesday 22nd August, so you need to get your answers in quickly.

Need a little inspiration for your answer? Here's what I have to celebrate:

This is Barney, my beautiful little baby nephew. He's just over two months old, and he's insanely adorable! He's always smiling and happy, and I am so proud to be his Auntie Frankie. So I would like to celebrate that!

I can't wait to hear all about your celebrations!

Much love,

Frankie

Lighter Self

Welcome back, my dear friends!

I have two things I'd like to talk to you about today:

1. I now have a whole new website for my styling portfolio! If you fancy having a look at my work so far, head over to www.frankiemurray.com. I have also made a new blog dedicated to my styling-related activities - http://frankiemurraystyling.blogspot.com. I will be writing about all manner of things over there - behind-the-scenes accounts from photoshoots, designers I have worked with or am inspired by, organisations I admire and the events I have attended. If you like that sort of thing then please, head on over. Both sites are a work in progress, but I'd really appreciate your support and feedback.

Necklace: Swell Vintage

2. Aussie, the lovely Australians who have the power to make your hair super gorgeous and lighter, have set me and the other Aussie Angels a challenge - to lighten our lives with Aussie by de-stressing and getting healthier just in time for summer. Now, when it comes to exercise, my main source normally comes from a walk to and from the bus stop, but Aussie have inspired me to really give this a go - but I will need some help! If you have any words of wisdom or inspiration, please share them with me. I need all of the help I can get! And, if you like, you can go on the Aussie Lusciously Lighter Self journey with us. They have put together a video of handy and (hopefully) easy to do exercises which you (and I) can try out at home or even at work. I'm going to try and do them at least evert other day, so why not join me?

Until next time...
